The UAE stock markets reported flat trading on Wednesday as uncertainty gripped global bourses over the size of the US Federal Reserve rate cut.

The general index of ADX (FADGI) saw a marginal fall of 0.054 percent to reach 9422.59 points. It reported a total of 23,677 trades involving 604 million shares with a total value of Dh2.20 billion.

The trading session saw prices of 23 companies rise, while 40 companies experienced a decline. Additionally, 12 companies closed unchanged compared to their previous closing prices. The market capitalisation of listed companies at ADX reached Dh2.872 trillion.

Apex Investments, ADNOC Gas and Easy Lease Motor Cycle Rental are among the prominent gainers while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO), International Holding Company (IHC), Modon Holdings and Alpha Dhabi Holding are among the prominent losers in the stock market on Wednesday.  

In the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), the general index (DFMGI) was down by a marginal 0.114 percent to close at 4,390.2 points. The trading session witnessed 10,301 trades involving 185 million shares with a total value of Dh335 million. Combined market capitalisation of listed companies at DFM reached Dh737 billion at the end of the trading. 

The trading session saw prices of  17 companies rise, while 18 companies experienced a decline. Additionally, 15 companies closed unchanged.

Dubai Refreshment Company (DRC), Bitcoin Fund (QBTC) and 21Shares Bitcoin (ABTC) are among the top gainers while Shuaa Capital, Ekttitab Holdings and Al Salam Bank are among those who experienced declines.
