The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued the following five-day weather forecast:
FRIDAY
WEATHER: Partly cloudy and cloudy at times over some northern, eastern and coastal areas with rainfall.
WIND: Moderate to fresh northeasterly to northwesterly, strong at times, with speeds of 15-30km/h, reaching 45km/h, and causing dust to blow in the inland areas.
SEA: Rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough at times in the Oman Sea.
SATURDAY
WEATHER: Humid in the morning over some inland areas. Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times, with low clouds over the sea and coastal areas.
WIND: Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly, with speeds of 10-25km/h, reaching 35km/h.
SEA: Moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
SUNDAY
WEATHER: Humid in the morning over some of the interior and coastal areas, and fair to partly cloudy at times.
WIND: Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly, at speeds of 10-25km/h, reaching 35km/h.
SEA: Moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
MONDAY
WEATHER: Humid in the morning over some interior and coastal areas with a probability of mist. Fair to partly cloudy, gradually increasing in temperature.
WIND: Light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly, at speeds of 10-25km/h, reaching 35km/h.
SEA: Moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
TUESDAY
WEATHER: Humid in the morning over some inland and coastal areas with a probability of fog and mist. Partly cloudy and cloudy at times over some areas.
WIND: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly, at speeds of 10-20km/h, reaching 30km/h.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
