The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs has won the Best Corporate Identity Award for 2024 by World Business Outlook magazine in the Branding category, for applying the best practices and standards in fostering excellence and innovation through the launch of its new logo.
Abu Dhabi Customs has also received three other awards in the Marketing and Communication category related to its new corporate identity project. These include Best Communication Campaign, Best Public Relations and Marketing Campaign, and Best Social Media Campaign awards.
The recognition from the World Business Outlook awards acknowledges the efforts of Abu Dhabi Customs in launching its corporate identity in July 2023, aligned with its future vision inspired by its history and vital role in supporting trade, economic growth, and safeguarding the community.
The new logo reflected simplicity, modernity and innovation in its design, and was distinguished by its dark green colour to indicate sustainability in adopting innovative solutions to develop customs services and procedures using advanced technology. This was to comply with the directives of the wise leadership and the government in achieving sustainable development and preserving resources.
Mohammed Husain Al Balooshi, Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing at Abu Dhabi Customs, said: “Winning four awards from World Business Outlook confirms that the corporate identity of Abu Dhabi Customs and its new logo are not just a change of appearance, but rather a reflection of the strategic directions and future visions geared towards promoting the customs system and establishing global leadership based on the legacy and history of the customs sector in Abu Dhabi."
He added: "It also marks the beginning of a new phase for developing procedures, enhancing service quality, and launching innovative projects by adopting sustainable solutions and advanced technology. This strengthens the emirate's position as a global center for trade, investment, and business, and supports the UAE's position among the world's top economies."
