Gold held steady on Tuesday as investors remained on the sidelines ahead of the US Federal Reserve policy meeting this week. The meeting could offer further clues on the timing of likely interest rate cuts this year, Reuters said.
Spot gold was changed a little at $2,160.79 per ounce, as of 0426 GMT. US gold futures were flat at $2,164.10.
Spot silver gained 0.3% to $25.10 per ounce; platinum rose 0.3% to $915.65, and palladium slipped 1.3% to $1,019.26.
