Travellers flying from the UAE may face changing schedules as airlines gradually restore flights following disruptions linked to regional developments.

Airports and carriers across emirates have issued travel advisories and flexible booking policies to help affected passengers. Here’s what to know before heading to the airport:

Zayed International Airport (AUH) continues to operate since the partial resumption of flights on Monday, March 2, in coordination with relevant authorities and airline partners.

Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport, as access will be restricted to those holding a confirmed ticket.

In Dubai, Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) restarted flights with reduced schedules.

Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless they have been informed by their airline that their flight is confirmed, as flight timings remain subject to change.

Other airports across the country, including Sharjah International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT) and Fujairah International Airport, are also operational with limited flights and services.

UAE Airlines

Refunds are also available for flights scheduled until March 21.

The airline had also issued an alert about fake social media accounts impersonating Etihad representatives and contacting its guests to collect personal information.

The airline said it will never request passwords, one‑time codes, payment details, or any sensitive information via social media messages.

Emirates resumed operations on Saturday with a reduced flight schedule.

Destinations available on Emirates’ flight schedule can be accessed through its official website.

Customers booked to travel between February 28 and March 31 can rebook flights for travel up to 30 April or request a refund.

flydubai’s latest update on Saturday also confirms that operations in and out of Dubai have resumed. Passengers can check the flight status for the latest updates before heading to the airport through its website.

Customers booked to travel between February 28 and March 31 may rebook an alternative flight to the same destination within 30 days of their original travel date without penalty charges.

Air Arabia started operating a limited number of flights to and from the UAE on Friday.

The airline said customers whose flights remain cancelled will be notified directly via email and SMS with alternative options, including one free date change within 15 days, a full credit voucher, or a full refund to the original form of payment.

Airports and airlines have issued several key recommendations for travellers:
- Check your flight status with your airline before leaving for the airport.
- Do not travel without a confirmed ticket or airline notification.
- Ensure contact details in airline bookings are up to date to receive alerts.
- Transit passengers will only be accepted for travel if their connecting flight is operating.
- Customers who booked their flights through a travel agent are required to contact them for rebooking or refunds.
- Airlines said schedules remain subject to change as the regional situation evolves and advised travelers to monitor official airline websites and communications for the latest updates.
