Abu Dhabi Airports has signed a partnership with The Butterfly to advance inclusivity, accessibility and the overall guest experience across its airport network, according to a press release.
The partnership aims to strengthen inclusive employment practices within Abu Dhabi Airports while enhancing services for passengers of all abilities. The Butterfly is a specialist organisation focused on inclusion and accessibility solutions.
According to the press release, the collaboration will support inclusive recruitment, workplace accessibility and the employment of People of Determination (PoDs) across the organisation. It will also provide Abu Dhabi Airports’ human resources teams with tailored training, best-practice resources and capability-building workshops designed to embed inclusion and accessibility across the organisation.
A key objective of the partnership is to align Abu Dhabi Airports’ HR frameworks with the UAE’s national inclusion priorities and environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.
The collaboration will also support Guest Experience teams in strengthening service delivery for passengers with diverse needs, helping to deliver more accessible and seamless journeys for People of Determination and reinforcing Abu Dhabi Airports’ focus on inclusive travel.

Abu Dhabi Airports operates five commercial airports in the emirate: Zayed International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, Delma Island Airport and Sir Bani Yas Island Airport. The group welcomed more than 29 million passengers across its airports in 2024, according to the press release, and is working towards its vision of positioning Abu Dhabi as a leading global aviation hub.
