Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA), a leading aviation group listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), reported revenue of Dh5.547 billion for the first nine months of 2025, up 9.2% from Dh5.082 billion a year earlier, according to its latest filing with ADX.

The company’s EBITDA rose sharply to Dh783.1 million, compared with Dh387.2 million in the same period last year — a 102% increase driven by the post-combination consolidation of companies and strong profitability across its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) businesses. The MRO division accounted for the lion’s share of revenues, contributing 87% of total income, or Dh4.84 billion, with a net profit of Dh511.2 million and a margin of 10.6%, supported by expanding regional mandates and higher throughput at Etihad Airways Engineering.

The Group’s net profit stood at Dh698.5 million, compared with Dh920.6 million a year earlier, which included a one-off gain of Dh596.8 million from the reverse acquisition in 2024. Excluding that impact, ADA achieved a 116% increase in underlying net profit. Earnings per share were Dh0.516, down from Dh1.004 due to the prior year’s exceptional gain.

ADA maintained a strong cash position of Dh2.12 billion, with net debt of Dh288.5 million, reflecting a 1.2x net debt-to-normalised EBITDA ratio. The company also invested Dh3.85 billion in financial assets and paid Dh329 million in dividends during the period.

In his statement, Nader Ahmed Mohamed Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation, said the company’s 2025 performance reflected “strategic consolidation and renewed ambition” following the group-wide integration completed last year.

“We have successfully continued to integrate our companies, capturing synergies while launching focused initiatives to accelerate growth and reinforce our position as the leading rotary and fixed-wing operator and MRO provider in the Middle East,” he said.

He added that the company achieved “a significant environmental milestone” with the first Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) flight in the MENA region, underscoring ADA’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The company also signed five strategic Memorandums of Understanding with Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, covering airport development, MRO services, pilot training, air cargo logistics, and VIP aviation operations. ADA launched Egypt’s first air-taxi service, branded Air Taxi Egypt, in partnership with the Egyptian Air Force, connecting Cairo with key destinations such as the New Administrative Capital, North Coast, and Sharm El-Sheikh.

ADA said it is undergoing a digital transformation to replace legacy systems with an intelligent aviation management platform aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Looking ahead, the company said its strategic priorities include expanding its MRO capabilities, deepening its general aviation footprint, and advancing fleet modernisation and regional growth, particularly within Africa’s oil and gas aviation markets.

Chairman Al Hammadi reaffirmed ADA’s focus on operational excellence and safety. “As we look toward year end, we remain focused on advancing the UAE’s aviation capabilities and delivering sustained value to all our stakeholders,” he said.
