Presight and Nasser Centre for Science and Technology sign MoU to accelerate AI adoption

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Presight has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) in the Kingdom of Bahrain to accelerate digital transformation and enhance the adoption of AI and advanced technologies across the region.

The agreement aims to support digital innovation across key sectors, including smart cities, digital government, and data-driven innovation, by combining Presight’s regional expertise in large-scale AI implementation with NCST’s advanced research capabilities.

The MoU was signed by Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, and Dr Abdulla Naser Hasan Al Noaimi, Chief Executive Officer of the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology. The signing ceremony was attended by Mansoor Al Mansoori, Vice Chairman of Presight, Dr Adel Al Sharji, Chief Operating Officer of Presight, and Dr Jassim Haji, Executive Advisor for AI & Data Science at NCST.

Through its AI research and development team, the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology drives applied research and innovation in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. The Centre studies global scientific trends and develops research projects addressing the needs of key regional sectors, while strengthening cooperation with international institutions to position itself as a leading regional hub for technology research.

Leveraging Presight’s experience in deploying AI solutions for governments and public institutions, the partnership will establish a platform for knowledge exchange, technical collaboration, and co-development of innovative AI applications aligned with national priorities in the Gulf region.

Dr Abdulla bin Naser Al Noaimi, Chief Executive Officer of NCST, said: “This collaboration reflects the Centre’s commitment to supporting scientific research and technological innovation, and to strengthening integration among leading institutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics.”

Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, added: “Presight is committed to working with governments and public institutions across the region to accelerate data-driven transformation and strengthen institutional capabilities. This MoU represents an important step towards regional integration and the exchange of expertise in AI and data analytics.”
