Thousands of young Emiratis are gearing up for Ru'ya, the UAE's premier career fair, as the nation continues to invest in Emiratisation and youth empowerment.
Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 23 to 25, Ru'ya offers a platform for career development, professional opportunities, and mentorship across diverse industries.
More than 150 leading companies are taking part in the fair, which whill also feature workshops, real-world challenges, and interactive experiences.
Shamma, a recent computer science graduate residing in Dubai said she hopes to explore career options that align with her passion for technology and innovation.
"Finding purpose is more important than simply obtaining a job. This event, in my opinion, is the ideal setting for beginning that trip," she said.
Alya, an Abu Dhabi resident with a degree in business administration, said she is seeking an employer that values Emirati talent and invests in career development.
"From what I've heard, many Ru'ya firms are actively seeking UAE nationals and are providing training courses. I want to work for a company that will allow me to grow and take on responisibility," she added
Zayed, an Abu Dhabi native with a strong interest in the public sector, said: "I'm passionate about serving my country, and I hope to find a role in a government entity where I can make a real difference," he said.
"Ru'ya is the best way to get in touch with government agencies that are seeking young, motivated people just like me," he added.
