DUBAI (ALETIHAD)

The Emirates Group has launched a major global recruitment campaign to hire 17,300 people during the current financial year. The scale of the drive is equivalent to recruiting an entire mid-sized town or filling the seats of 58 Airbus A350 aircraft, with positions open across more than 350 roles.

The new recruits will support all functions and operations within Emirates — the world’s most profitable and largest international airline — and dnata, its global air and travel services arm. Roles include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial and sales teams, customer service, ground handling, catering, IT, HR, and finance. dnata alone is looking to hire over 4,000 specialists across cargo, catering, and ground services.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, said, “The Emirates Group’s people strategy is anchored in Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and our own projected growth and expansion. We’re seeking world-class talent to fuel our bold ambition, redefine the future of aviation, and continue our commitment and culture of innovation and excellence. This is an opportunity for skilled and talented professionals to play a stellar role in our future, our strategy, and our growth story.”

To attract the right talent, the Group will host over 2,100 open days and talent acquisition events across 150 cities this year, including Dubai-based engagements aimed at UAE national students and graduates. These events will allow potential candidates to meet experienced recruiters and long-serving staff members.

Since 2022, the Emirates Group has added more than 41,000 new employees, including nearly 27,000 in operational roles, bringing its total workforce to 121,000.

Last year alone, the Group received over 3.7 million job applications, drawn by its global reputation, people-first strategy, tax-free salary, strong benefits, and renowned training and development programmes.

Employees based in Dubai benefit from profit share schemes, comprehensive insurance coverage, a wide range of travel perks for themselves and their families, and discounts at hundreds of retail, hospitality, and lifestyle outlets.

Aspiring candidates can apply online or attend recruitment events globally throughout the year.
