The UAE stock markets saw mixed trading on Thursday with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange reporting a flat trading and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) seeing an impressive uptick in the index.

The general index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) — FADGI — saw a marginal fall of 0.025% to reach 9513.9 points. It reported a total of 26,129 trades involving 478 million shares with a total value of Dh1.87 billion.

The trading session saw share prices of 39 companies rise, while 35 companies experienced a decline. Additionally, nine companies closed unchanged compared to their previous closing prices. The market capitalisation of listed companies at ADX reached Dh2.919 trillion, approaching the Dh3 trillion milestone. 

Modon Holding (+3.56%), Multiply Group(+1.76%) Presight AI (+3.33) and Union Insurance (+8.51) are among the prominent gainers while Apex Investments  (-3.16), Fujairah Building Industries (-9.7), Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) (-9.43), Hayah Insurance (-8.59) and Gulf Cement (-5.58) are among the prominent losers in the stock market on Thursday. 

In the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), the general index (DFMGI) was up by an impressive 0.85% to close at 4,526.61 points. The trading session witnessed 13,319 trades involving 249 million shares with a total value of Dh484 million. Combined market capitalisation of listed companies at DFM reached Dh761 billion at the end of the trading. 

The trading session saw prices of 25 companies rise, while 17 companies experienced a decline. Additionally, five companies closed unchanged.

Union Properties (+5.80%), Mashreq Bank (+4.87)  and Parkin (+4.29%) are among the top gainers while Dubai Refreshment Company (-9.94%) Al Salam Sudan (-8.51%), Agility Warehousing (-4.95%) are among those who experienced declines.
