The 10th Education Interface Exhibition commenced in Abu Dhabi on Monday, celebrating its bronze jubilee under the slogan “Ten years in Service to Education.”

Held under the patronage of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the event featured 65 educational institutions representing 537 local and international establishments.

These included governmental and private institutions from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Canada, Malaysia, and Australia.

The event, running until Tuesday at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, also witnessed the participation of expert lecturers from both public and private sectors, sharing their knowledge with students and individuals seeking to advance in various academic and scientific fields.

As an organiser of the event, the Ministry of Interior is committed to actively participating in the Education Interface Exhibition 2024 as part of national efforts to enhance the skills, capabilities, and talents of young people, said Lt. Colonel Dr. Abdulaziz AlJunaibi, from the Ministry of Interior's Competencies Development General Directorate.

"We participate in the exhibition to offer students educational and training opportunities. We focus on key specialisations aligned with the Ministry's forward-looking vision, especially artificial intelligence, modern technologies, and advanced security sciences," AlJunaibi told Aletihad.

One of the speakers at the event, Dr. Wadima Al Dhaheri, an Assistant Professor at Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, said that more than a thousand students have benefited from the exhibition, pursuing postgraduate and bachelor's degrees at various universities.

"This year, we also have universities from abroad participating. Some universities offer online programmes and have set up booths here. For the first time, we have University of Buraimi from the Sultanate of Oman joining us, alongside the local governmental universities and institutes participating in this session," Al Dhaheri told Aletihad.

Pearla Imad, a Grade 11 student, was among the visitors to the exhibition. "I came here to gather ideas about universities. I wanted to explore universities in the GCC. I really liked it; there are so many places and universities to explore," she said.
