The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session at 9,236.3 points, down by 0.53%.
Total number of trades was 14,579, amounting to a value of Dh980.23 million.
Seventy-one companies were traded in the session, stock prices of 27 went up, 30 went down and 14 remained unchanged.
Gulf Cement Co. topped the gainers of the trading session closing at Dh0.410, with a 7.89% increase.
OOREDOO, on the other hand, closed the session at Dh11.1, with a 7.5% decrease recording the lowest price of the trading session.
Conversely, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed the session in the green territory at 4248.3 points and a 0.059% increase.
A total of 43 companies were involved in the trading session. Stocks of 19 companies recorded an increase in their prices, 14 recorded a decline and prices of five remained unchanged.
A total number of 7,872 trades were recorded in the session amounting to a value of Dh324 million.
AL SALAM Sudan closed at Dh0.907 up by 7.21% and Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co. closed at Dh0.450 down by 9.820%, recording the highest and the lowest prices of the trading session.
