Abu Dhabi (Aletihad) - Etihad Airways has announced their Black Friday sale and comes as a timely and welcome news for those planning around the festive season and their winter getaways. Whatever the excuse –planning a vacation or the trip to go with the Christmas and New Year holidays – the UAE's national carrier has given an early heads-up call.
The dates and routes have not been announced but the airlines has indicated that flying travellers can expect up to 20% discounted fares around the finer terms and conditions.
The sale period will be from November 24 to 27. There will be no need for a reminder because the biggest carnival will be in town during that weekend when the Etihad Airways-sponsored Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The Black Friday sale also follows recent additions of routes on the flight network of the airline. Two weeks back, the Scandinavian operator SAS entered a codeshare agreement, following Etihad's opening of a Copenhagen route.
The codeshare will take full effect from the end of December. Etihad has partnership agreements with several airline operators across various alliances. This year alone, Etihad has launched an impressive nine new destinations including Malaga, Mykonos, Lisbon, Kolkata, St Petersburg, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Osaka, and Boston.
