Aletihad Staff (ABU DHABI) - Abu Dhabi University's (ADU) College of Business announced the launch of five new undergraduate degrees accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), a UAE Federal Government Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
To help students develop in-demand skills for the rapidly evolving job market, the programmes were specifically designed with the goals of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 in mind, according to Professor Barry O’Mahony, Dean of the ADU College of Business.
The new programmes are as follows: Bachelor of Business Administration; Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Fintech; Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting; Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management; and Bachelor of Business Administration in Digital Marketing Communications.
“Through these programmes, we aim to graduate students who acquire the skillsets required by modern employers and expand the learning horizon for our students,” Professor O’Mahony said.
The programmes are focused on technology, data management, and sustainability as well as critical thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence and entrepreneurship.Each programme will cover different relevant topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), business analytics, digital technology, and business mathematics.
“We at ADU are committed to offering our students a world-class education and supporting them during their academic journey with advanced programmes to solve the 21st century's challenges,” Professor O’Mahony added.
This year, ADU was ranked 13th best university in the world among the Top 20 Small Universities in the World on the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.
