ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) connected senior executives from 13 of its listed companies with about 70 major US institutional investors managing more than $35 trillion in assets during a roadshow in New York, a statement said.

Organised in collaboration with Morgan Stanley, the ADX Global Investor Roadshow and Conference concluded on September 25 after two days.

The delegation included senior executives from companies operating in energy, banking, property, telecommunications and basic materials— sectors that support Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s economic diversification, the statement said.

Nearly 120 one-on-one and group meetings were held during the event. Participating ADX-listed companies presented their businesses, competitive positions, growth strategies and financial performance to institutional investors.

ADX said overseas investors accounted for 48% of the exchange’s total trading value during the first half of 2026. Foreign investors also represented 77% of the 30,000 new investors registered with the exchange during the period. Net foreign investment inflows increased 13.7% year on year to $380 million, equivalent to Dh1.4 billion.

“Connecting our listed companies directly with the global investment community enables the continued development and diversification of Abu Dhabi’s and the UAE’s economy,” said Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX.

“As a multi-asset exchange, we continuously strive to upgrade our market infrastructure, expand product offerings and enhance digital connectivity to address the dynamic needs of our investors and issuers,” he added.

Alnuaimi said the roadshow provided ADX with an opportunity to explain its efforts to reduce operational barriers and accelerate trade execution for international investors and global institutions.

ADX said it would continue working to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global financial centre. The exchange is expanding its range of financial products as foreign investment inflows increase, supported by its governance and operational infrastructure.
