ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Aldar will open Saadiyat Grove, a luxury retail and fine dining destination in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, in the fourth quarter of 2026, bringing together more than 100 brands, including 20 concepts new to the region.

Located between Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Louvre Abu Dhabi, the mixed-use destination will combine retail and dining with hotels, residences, wellness facilities and premium office space, Aldar said in a statement.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar, said Saadiyat Grove was a centrepiece of the company’s strategy to position Saadiyat Island and Abu Dhabi as a global destination for culture-led living, tourism and investment.

“It is a place where culture and lifestyle intersect to create a truly differentiated value proposition for residents, visitors, and businesses alike,” Al Mubarak said. He said the development would bring together culture, community and contemporary living while strengthening Saadiyat Island’s position as a cultural destination.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aldar, said Saadiyat Grove marked “a new era for luxury retail in Abu Dhabi.”

“We expect Saadiyat Grove to attract visitors from across the world and, in doing so, it will help establish luxury retail as a significant new pillar of Abu Dhabi's economy,” Al Dhiyebi said.

The retail component will include Audemars Piguet, Brunello Cucinelli, BVLGARI, Cartier, Chaumet, Dior, FENDI, James Perse, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Valentino and Van Cleef & Arpels, according to the statement.

Several brands will introduce new concepts at the development. Audemars Piguet will launch a new global boutique concept centred on watchmaking, while Cartier will incorporate locally sourced fabrics and materials and collaborations with UAE artists into its boutique.

Chaumet will introduce what the statement described as a world-first immersive Tiara experience, while FENDI will have an experiential space incorporating a cinema and multipurpose room. Louis Vuitton will introduce a new retail experience that includes a cultural component.

The development will also introduce new food and beverage concepts. Alain Ducasse Café will offer chocolate, coffee, ice cream, pastries and desserts, while Monsieur Paul, the French brasserie concept, will include a restaurant, café and boutique. Kokoro Handroll Bar and Momofuku, part of the restaurant group founded by chef David Chang, will also be part of the dining offering.

Japanese culture shop BEAMS will make its UAE debut at Saadiyat Grove. Founded in Harajuku, Tokyo, in 1976, BEAMS offers fashion and lifestyle products.

Saadiyat Grove will also house Abu Dhabi’s first Time Out Market, featuring 16 kitchens with chefs, restaurateurs and home-grown dining concepts. It will include the region’s first Time Out Café, beverage concepts and entertainment experiences.

Additional restaurants at the neighbouring Louvre Residences Abu Dhabi will include Alica Deli, Barrafina, Gymkhana, Le Palais, Magma and Zephyr.

Aldar said the development was intended to support private-sector investment, increase visitor spending and create jobs as part of Abu Dhabi’s broader economic diversification.

The wider mixed-use development will include Saadiyat Forum, a 7,000-square-metre flexible events and experiences space, which will also feature a reimagined cinema concept. A 2,200-square-metre executive club will provide private offices, boardrooms, member lounges and concierge services.

Saadiyat Grove will also provide 25,000 square metres of premium office space across four Grade A buildings, with direct connectivity to a luxury hotel.

Its wellness facilities will include a 2,000-square-metre gym operated by London-based BXR, backed by heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua. It will be BXR’s first flagship location in the Middle East. A wellness centre and longevity clinic offering personalised programmes and longevity services are also planned.

The residential component includes Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat and The Arthouse, with more than 1,000 homes scheduled to be handed over in the coming months, the statement said.
