ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
Aldar has sold out the townhouses at The Orchids at Yas Acres during launch, generating more than Dh680 million.
In a statement, Aldar said the strong sales performance reflects “sustained demand for homes on Yas Island” and reinforces Yas Acres’ position as “one of Abu Dhabi’s most desirable communities for families.”
UAE nationals accounted for 54% of buyers, while expatriate residents and international buyers represented 46% of sales. Customers from India, the UK and China were among the leading nationalities by sales volume.
Aldar said 73% of customers were first-time buyers of its properties, attracted by the community’s appeal to families seeking access to leading schools, leisure amenities and Yas Island’s lifestyle offering.
The statement said first-time Aldar customers were attracted by proximity to schools such as Noya British School and Yas American Academy, along with the wider lifestyle and entertainment offering of Yas Island.
“The performance of The Orchids reflects the continued evolution of Yas Island as a residential destination, supported by significant investment in infrastructure, leisure, and entertainment assets,” Aldar said.
Following the sell-out of townhouses, Aldar said it will soon release a limited collection of 20 premium villas, offering families the opportunity to buy larger homes within the established community.
Yas Acres is described in the statement as a thriving community recognised for its elevated amenities and family-friendly lifestyle. At the heart of the community is a 500-square-metre community club featuring a gym, multipurpose hall and shared spaces designed for residents to gather and connect.
The broader community offers a park, swimming pools, sports courts and landscaped green spaces within a gated setting where families can enjoy privacy, safety and a strong sense of belonging, the statement said.
