Mubadala has increased its shareholding in Aldar Properties from 25.12% to 26.26%, the leading real estate company said in a stock market disclosure.

Mamoura Diversified Global Holding, a subsidiary of Mubadala, increased its stake by more than 1% through a series of market purchases executed via its trading account on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) between March 10 and March 13.

Aldar said the change in shareholding resulted solely from independent market transactions undertaken by Mubadala and was neither the outcome of, nor related to, any corporate action initiated or undertaken by the company.

The disclosure was signed by Faisal Falaknaz, Group Chief Financial & Sustainability Officer of Aldar Properties.

Aldar has a market capitalisation of Dh61.9 billion and is largely owned by Mubadala and International Holding Company (IHC)-affiliated entities.

Aldar Properties has been at the forefront of Abu Dhabi’s real estate development, driving innovation, sustainability, and urban transformation across the emirate.

IHC said in a statement in November 2025 that it did not intend to pursue the sale of its shareholding in Aldar Properties. The company emphasised that Aldar remains a strategic long-term investment within its diversified portfolio, reflecting IHC’s continued confidence in Abu Dhabi’s growing and resilient real estate sector.
