ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM) will reopen on Wednesday (March 4).
A statement from the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA) said: “In implementation of its supervisory and regulatory mandate, CMA confirms that trading and settlement activities on ADX and DFM will resume on March 4, 2026.”
The resumption follows continued coordination between the CMA and the exchanges, in line with the previously communicated timeframe.
The Authority will continue to monitor developments and take any measures deemed appropriate in line with its mandate to ensure investor protection.
All concerned parties are advised to follow the official UAE Capital Market Authority, ADX and DFM channels for further updates.
The ADX Group in a separate statement said it is operationally prepared to resume market activities. “Its trading, clearing, and settlement frameworks are ready to support an orderly and efficient marketplace,” the statement said.
To manage the anticipated price volatility, ADX will temporarily adjust its lower price limit threshold for securities to -5%, the ADX Group said.
