LuLu Group has signed agreements with ADNOC Distribution to launch five new LuLu Daily stores at The Hub by ADNOC locations, marking the start of a new phase in convenience retail expansion through ADNOC Distribution’s next-generation roadside retail concept, according to a joint press release.
The collaboration was marked by the opening of the first LuLu Daily store located at an ADNOC Distribution property, situated at The Hub by ADNOC on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The inauguration was attended by Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, and Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of LuLu Group, along with senior officials from both organisations.
The launch also included the signing of strategic memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to open four additional LuLu Daily stores at The Hub by ADNOC locations by mid-2027.
The MoUs were signed by Yusuffali M.A. and Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki in the presence of senior leadership from both sides, reinforcing the long-term partnership between LuLu Group and ADNOC Distribution.
Commenting on the partnership, Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of LuLu Group International, said: “We are happy to be collaborating with ADNOC Distribution for the first time. Spanning 16,566 square feet, the new LuLu Daily store forms a central component of The Hub by ADNOC on Saadiyat Island and is designed to serve the surrounding community with convenient access to daily essentials. The store offers a wide range of products including fresh farm produce, grocery staples, meat and dairy items, bakery goods, beauty products, toys and household essentials, the statement said.
The store has been designed with customer convenience in mind and features two self-checkout counters and seamless access to parking to support efficient shopping experiences. The release said the design reflects a shared customer-first approach between the two companies.
The Hub by ADNOC is ADNOC Distribution’s next-generation roadside retail concept, integrating traditional services such as fuel, EV charging and car care with lifestyle offerings including supermarkets, dining, fitness, co-working spaces and family recreation. Each hub is positioned as a community destination that combines convenience with experiences intended to encourage longer customer engagement.
