Abu Dhabi Media on Sunday marked Commemoration Day, observed annually on November 30, in honour of the UAE's martyrs and in recognition of the values of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the nation's sons, who gave their lives in defence of the homeland and in preservation of its achievements.
Community Cohesion
The event, held at the Abu Dhabi Media Radio and Television building, witnessed the lowering of the UAE flag in the presence of executive officers and employees from the company's various media platforms.
A minute of silent prayer was observed, creating a national scene that reflects the depth of community cohesion and the continuation of the approach established by the Founding Fathers to strengthen the spirit of the Union and national unity.
Abu Dhabi Media provided comprehensive coverage of Martyrs' Day across its television, radio, print, and digital platforms, in line with its national role and responsibility to highlight authentic Emirati values and to honour the memory of the martyrs and their heroic deeds, which will remain etched in the nation's collective memory.

On this occasion, Rashed Al Qubaisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Media, said, "Martyrs' Day is an enduring national occasion in which we recall the heroic deeds of the nation's sons who, through their courage, embodied the true meaning of sacrifice and wrote shining pages in the nation's history with their pure souls. Today, we remember them with reverence, and we pray that God Almighty may grant them His abundant mercy and inspire their families with peace and pride in the honourable sacrifices their sons made."
