Aldar Properties has announced the launch of Yas Riva Residences, a new waterfront residential community located along Yas Island’s canal, according to a statement issued by the company.
Situated on the northern coast of Yas Island, next to the previously sold-out Yas Riva villa community, the development will feature 950 apartments across six mid-rise buildings, offering a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes.
Each apartment is designed with spacious layouts, high-quality finishes, and private balconies that provide expansive canal, sea, and island views, the statement said.
“Yas Riva Residences blends adventure, wellbeing, and social connection,” Aldar noted, highlighting that the design encourages both active lifestyles and moments of relaxation.
At the heart of the community lies The Pavilion, a contemporary architectural landmark inspired by Barcelona’s modernist Pavilion, serving as a central social hub featuring a café and social kitchen.
The development will also include four distinct pavilion experiences, each offering unique amenities tailored to family life, wellness, and leisure.
Residents will have access to an extensive range of facilities, including waterside spas, family activity pools, a water sport and boating hub, indoor and outdoor sports areas, shaded gardens, and canal-side cafés.
Aldar said the project has been designed to meet Estidama Pearl 3 and Fitwel 2 sustainability standards, incorporating shaded walkways, landscaped green spaces, and community-focused zones to promote wellbeing and environmental responsibility.
Yas Riva Residences benefits from Yas Island’s growing ecosystem of entertainment, leisure, and educational offerings, with easy access to Zayed International Airport, Fahid Island, Saadiyat Island, and Abu Dhabi City, the statement said.
The residences are open to buyers of all nationalities and will be available for sale starting December 5, 2025.
