Aldar has announced the launch of The Row Saadiyat, an exclusive new residential and lifestyle destination within Saadiyat Cultural District, set against the backdrop of the Zayed National Museum. Designed by the globally acclaimed Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the project combines contemporary architecture with Abu Dhabi’s cultural identity.
The Row Saadiyat will officially launch on November 1, with 315 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments available in the first phase. Spanning seven mid-rise buildings, each with nine floors, the development is designed as a walkable and socially vibrant quarter offering direct views of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic landmarks — including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.
Jonathan Emery, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Development, said the project reflects Aldar’s vision to blend design, culture, and community living.
“The Row Saadiyat brings together the finest elements of contemporary design and cultural context to create something truly unique for Abu Dhabi. Set within Saadiyat Cultural District, the community offers residents a front-row view of one of the most iconic cultural landscapes in the world,” he said.
Residents will have easy access to Saadiyat’s cultural landmarks through shaded, air-conditioned pedestrian bridges connecting directly to Saadiyat Grove, the island’s upcoming luxury retail and dining destination, and to Mamsha Beach.
The community’s design promotes what Aldar calls a “connect to disconnect” lifestyle — encouraging social activity at ground level and calm, private spaces above. The ground floors will feature restaurants, wellness, and retail outlets, while upper levels will offer serene living spaces with interiors by award-winning studio Kettle Collective.
Amenities will include children’s clubs, a wellness pod, a co-working lounge, and a pet spa. A distinctive communal hub, The Other Space, will serve as a creative and social venue for residents, hosting events and art-inspired gatherings. Additionally, a wellbeing club will cater to both residents and the wider community, offering premium fitness and spa facilities.
Aligned with Aldar’s sustainability strategy, The Row Saadiyat incorporates smart home systems and targets a 3 Pearl Estidama rating and 2-star Fitwel certification, reflecting high standards of sustainable and healthy living design.
Open to buyers of all nationalities, The Row Saadiyat marks a new milestone in Aldar’s development of Saadiyat Island as Abu Dhabi’s cultural and lifestyle hub.
