Presight, a leading big data analytics company powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI), is bringing actionable AI solutions to GITEX Global 2024.

"In this edition of GITEX, we're focused on launching applications designed to deliver real-world impact, where the rubber hits the road," Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, said in an interview with Aletihad.

On Monday, Presight introduced the Presight Intelli Platform, an innovative AI-driven tool designed to transform urban management and operational efficiency. This domain-agnostic platform redefines how organisations approach operations in various contexts, including smart cities, transportation hubs, energy utilities, and public safety. Its unparalleled scalability means it can be effectively deployed from small towns to sprawling megacities without requiring disruptive updates.

Built on open API standards, the Intelli Platform ensures compatibility with diverse data sources, making it highly adaptable. Its user-friendly, no-coding environment allows stakeholders to quickly deploy customised solutions through intuitive drag-and-drop functionality. Furthermore, it can operate seamlessly in both cloud and on-premise environments, integrating easily with platforms like Microsoft Azure or local data centres.

The Intelli Platform aggregates data from IoT sensors across multiple sectors, acting as a nerve centre for cities.

By employing generative AI, it enables users to pose complex questions and receive actionable insights.

Pramotedham explained its potential applications: "Imagine a mayor managing the city from a command center, optimising traffic flow and multi-modal mobility, or managing renewable energy sources more efficiently. Intelli gives decision-makers the power to predict and respond to urban challenges in real time."

On the second day of GITEX, Presight unveiled the Presight Report Optimizer, a no-code report generator that streamlines the process of gathering and analysing data from both public and private sources. Utilising generative AI and large language models (LLMs), this tool automates report generation, enabling users to produce detailed analyses, trend assessments, and predictive insights.

"Data has shaped industries for a long time, but the way we manage and utilise it has evolved. Today's advancements enable more precise decision-making, critical for tackling contemporary issues like traffic management and predictive maintenance in energy systems," Pramotedham noted.

Collaborations for Impact
Introducing platforms that foster collaboration is also a key focus area for Presight at GITEX Global 2024.

"We believe that collaboration thrives on trust; by bringing the right stakeholders together, we can establish a stronger foundation for effectively implementing use cases and driving meaningful change," said Pramotedham.

At GITEX Global 2024, Presight has signed an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar to develop an asset management tool for its renewable energy projects worldwide. It also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Swiss AI AG ("SwissAI") to harness urban data analytics for optimising city infrastructure and planning.

Pramotedham hinted at plans to launch a new platform designed to enhance collaboration in data sharing among stakeholders across various domains.

Furthering National Goals
Looking ahead, Presight aims to focus on introducing AI solutions to the energy sector in line with national goals, according to Pramotedham.

"Our commitment to energy transition means we're exploring how to optimise current operations and produce energy more responsibly. As we consume more energy and as AI trends develop, it's vital that we manage this transition between hydrocarbons and renewables effectively," he said.

"Supporting the country's climate promises is a significant part of our mission, especially given the energy consumption associated with establishing data centres."
