As Eid Al Adha approaches, the UAE's humanitarian efforts are ensuring that Palestinian families in Gaza are not forgotten as Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to deliver food aid, medical supplies, Eid clothing, and essential supplies aimed at easing their suffering and bringing hope and joy during the blessed occasion across the enclave.
Speaking to Aletihad, Mohammed AlShareef, official spokesperson for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, said the initiative continued to embody the UAE's humanitarian values during Eid Al Adha through relief efforts aimed at supporting families across the Gaza Strip despite ongoing challenges.
"Any humanitarian initiative in Gaza makes people feel they are not alone and gives them a glimmer of hope amid their daily suffering," he said.
AlShareef explained that the initiative provided humanitarian aid, food parcels, and Eid clothing, while also organising community activities that helped restore part of the festive spirit for families and children during the holiday period.
He noted that the initiatives not only supported families materially, but also helped ease psychological and economic pressures facing residents.
"Bringing joy to children, providing for families' needs, and organising community activities have restored happiness to people and given them a sense of life and stability, even if only temporarily," he added.
He stressed that the continuation of humanitarian support during holidays reflects the UAE's broader approach to sustainable giving and standing alongside affected communities beyond emergency situations alone.
"The continued support during holidays and special occasions carries an important humanitarian message: that the people of Gaza are always present in the hearts and minds of the UAE, its leadership, and its people," he said.
Highlighting the importance of rapid response and organised aid delivery, AlShareef noted that timely humanitarian assistance plays a critical role in ensuring support reaches the most vulnerable families; this particularly during peak seasons and holidays when needs increase significantly.
"When aid arrives quickly and in an organised manner, it directly contributes to alleviating suffering and ensures that support reaches the most vulnerable families," he said.
Notably, he added that Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to reinforce the UAE's position as a global model in humanitarian work through initiatives that support different aspects of daily life and provide affected communities with both relief and hope.
"What the UAE provides is not limited to aid alone, but also gives people a sense of hope, alleviates their burdens, and confirms that true humanitarian work is that which reaches people and leaves a lasting impact on their daily lives," he concluded.
