The 1 Billion Followers Summit, the largest global assembly of content creators, has appointed Indian content creator Prajakta Koli as an ambassador for its third edition.
Under the theme "Content for Good," the Summit is scheduled to take place in Dubai from January 11 to 13, 2025.
Mumbai-based Koli joins a list of previously announced ambassadors for the event, who will represent and promote it via social media, raising awareness of its aims and mission while encouraging the audience to engage with its various initiatives.
Speaking about her participation, Prajakta expressed her excitement at being selected as an ambassador for the Summit.
“I am excited to be part of the summit’s ambassadors. I look forward to working with the Summit team to elevate their inspiring message and produce content that intellectually resonates with audiences,” she said.
Ambassadors of the 1 Billion Followers Summit will promote the event and its key innovations across their social media platforms and related industry events.
They will also gain exclusive access to invaluable networking opportunities with industry leaders, experts, speakers, and other high-profile attendees, further enhancing their personal brand and credibility.
The 31-year-old digital creator, known for her YouTube channel MostlySane, is celebrated for her comedy videos, which primarily feature observational humour centered around everyday situations.
Since launching her YouTube channel MostlySane in February 2015, Koli has become one of India's most influential content creators, amassing over 17 million followers across social media platforms.
She is also recognised for her leading role in the Netflix romantic series Mismatched.
Her role as India’s Youth Climate Champion for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) marked a significant shift in her outlook. She represented India at Climate Week 2024 in New York, aiming to unite young people globally in the fight against climate change and to promote climate solutions.
Additionally, she attended the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in the UAE, making a notable impact as the only YouTuber and content creator from India at the event.
With over 15,000 participants, including companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and the world's foremost content creators with a collective following exceeding a billion on social media, the Summit is set to foster innovation and growth in the global content industry.
