flydubai has adjusted its schedule for Friday, April 19, and there have been further flight cancellations, according to a spokesperson from the airline.
As flydubai’s operating flights are continuing to experience some delays, the airline advised passengers to check the status of their flight before they leave for the airport.
“We are working hard to minimise any disruption to our passengers’ travel schedules and are coordinating with all parties at the airport. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the operational challenges,” the spokesperson said.
Passengers whose bookings have been cancelled will be contacted and will be offered a refund, and passengers who booked their tickets through a Travel Agent are advised to contact them directly, the spokesperon added.
Further, passengers with onward connections will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice, according to the spokesperon.
As journey and processing times are expected to be longer than noraml, the spokesperon advised travellers to allow significant extra time for the journey, and to pack a snack and a bottle of water.
