The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Saturday released a report on the weather forecast from Sunday, Jan. 12 to Thursday, Jan. 16.
It expects mist formation by morning over some internal and coastal areas and the weather to be fair to partly cloudy.
Sunday
WEATHER: Fog and mist formation over some internal and coastal areas. It will be fair to partly cloudy by morning.
WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly winds are becoming Northwesterly, with a speed of 10 – 20 Km/hr reaching 30 Km/hr.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Monday
WEATHER: Humid by morning over some internal and coastal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation - Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a probability of light rainfall over some coastal and the Northern areas.
WIND: Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening gradually by afternoon with a speed of 15 – 30 Km/hr, reaching 40 Km/hr.
SEA: Moderate, gradually becoming rough by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
Tuesday
WEATHER: Humid by morning over some internal areas with a probability of mist formation - Partly cloudy to cloudy times over some Northern and Eastern areas with a probability of light rainfall.
WIND: Light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 Km/hr, reaching 40 Km/hr.
SEA: Rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
Wednesday
WEATHER: Humid by morning over some internal and coastal areas with a probability of fog and mist formation - Fair to partly cloudy.
WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 Km/hr.
SEA: Moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
Thursday
WEATHER: Humid by morning over some internal and coastal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation - Fair to partly cloudy.
WIND: Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 Km/hr, reaching 30 Km/hr.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
