ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Starting Sunday, the United Arab Emirates is expecting unstable weather conditions due to the extension of a low-pressure system from the Southwest, along with humid southeasterly winds, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Additionally, an extension of upper air pressure from the Northwest will also impact the UAE.

The country's skies will range from partly cloudy to cloudy, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall that may become heavy in certain internal and southern areas. On Monday and Tuesday, the low-pressure system will intensify, bringing more clouds over scattered areas.

Various intensities of rainfall are expected in scattered areas, along with lightning, thunder, and hail in limited areas.

Wednesday will see clearing skies, but rainfall is still expected in some Northern and Eastern regions.

Between Sunday and Wednesday, the wind will be moderate to fresh, carrying dust and sand that may reduce horizontal visibility.

Sea conditions will be moderate to rough, becoming extremely rough at times on Monday and Tuesday in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

By Wednesday, sea conditions will improve in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
