On Friday, June 5, the Cultural Foundation is staging “100 Years of Bollywood Music: The Musical”, a grand, large-scale stage production celebrating the evolution and timeless legacy of Indian cinema music over the past century.
Conceptualised, produced and performed by Malhaar Ensemble, the show takes audiences on an immersive journey through iconic eras of Bollywood, featuring legendary compositions, unforgettable melodies and the cultural stories behind them.
With over 40 accomplished artists on stage, the production blends live music, dance, storytelling and theatrical presentation with contemporary soundscapes and visual design, creating a spectacular experience where nostalgia meets modern stagecraft.
From golden classics to contemporary hits, audiences will experience Bollywood music in all its splendour — as a vibrant cultural narrative that continues to inspire generations worldwide.
The musical premiered earlier in Dubai to sold-out audiences and critical acclaim, establishing itself as one of the region’s most accomplished Indian musical theatre productions.
