Emirati families are taking their children to ADIHEX to help them experience and better appreciate their history and ancestry.
Parents said interactive activities at the event make it easier to introduce their children to the UAE’s heritage and culture.
Mariam Al Mansoori, who brought her two kids to the exhibition, a boy, and a girl, aged four and six, said the experience was unforgettable.
"I wanted my kids to have an engaging and unforgettable experience with our ancestry. They can discover how hunting has been a part of Emirati culture for many generations. They can comprehend the past easily when they witness and participate in these events in person."
She added that the exhibition offers children the chance to discover aspects of Emirati culture beyond what they may have learned at home or in school.
Ahood Al Hammadi, who visited with her five-year-old son, said the exhibition gives kids a great chance to learn about the history of their nation.
"I brought my son because I want him to grow up knowing and respecting Emirati history. I enjoy ADIHEX because the kids can participate, learn and make their own discoveries in addition to just viewing displays.”
Abdullah Al Breiki, who came with his three kids of ages four to eight, said ADIHEX is a unique educational experience as it fuses interactive technology and hands-on activities.
"Instead of just hearing about our heritage, I wanted my kids to see and experience it for themselves. They liked the interactive features, such as the AI-powered hunting games that they could play for themselves."
