His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has highlighted the importance of humanitarian work, saying true impact is measured not by words but by the difference made in people's lives.
In an X post marking World Humanitarian Day on Wednesday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, said: "Presence is not measured by those who speak about people's suffering, but by those who help alleviate it."
His Highness said: "Throughout its history and values, and since its founding by Zayed the Good and his brothers, the UAE has chosen to be on the right side of humanitarian work."
His Highness added: "And, God willing, it will remain a force for good, a creator of hope and life."
