The United Arab Emirates has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist drone and missile attacks by Iran targeting the State of Kuwait, which resulted in one death, a number of injuries, and damage to critical facilities, including Kuwait International Airport and diplomatic missions.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that these terrorist attacks constitute a flagrant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a threat to its security and stability, as well as to the safety of its critical infrastructure and civilian facilities.

The Ministry stressed that targeting diplomatic missions and premises constitutes a flagrant violation of international norms and laws, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantees the inviolability of diplomatic premises and the protection of diplomatic personnel. Such acts represent a dangerous escalation and a threat to regional security and stability.

The Ministry also expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures aimed at safeguarding its security and stability.
