The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) clarified a number of tips that must be followed during rainfall to ensure your safety.
In a post on X, the authority advised the public to take the necessary precautions and be cautious, which includes the following:
- Avoid going to the sea or the beach
- Avoid going to high places
- Keep children from playing in areas where water is collecting
- Avoid standing under trees
- Stay away from electric poles
- Avoid places like valleys where water flows and collects
- Keep an eye on the relevent authorities' platforms for important weather updates
