TRENDS Research & Advisory is an official sponsor of the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025, which will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser.
The Summit, organised by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, will take place on April 8-9 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) under the theme Together Towards Building Global Resilience.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, stated that this marks the Center’s third consecutive participation in the Summit, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting the event and contributing to the dissemination of its outcomes through reliable and purposeful research and media efforts that underscore the critical importance of readiness in addressing challenges of all kinds, regardless of their source or nature.
He added that the Summit attracts broad international participation and offers a valuable opportunity for impactful academic collaboration. It also provides strategic foresight to support emergency and crisis management agencies in confronting future challenges, particularly considering rapidly evolving technologies, the spread of artificial intelligence, and the growing influence of digital platforms and solutions.
TRENDS will also host a dedicated pavilion alongside the Summit, showcasing its latest and most notable publications across various fields.
Dr. Al-Ali emphasised that the Summit is a global platform for fostering partnerships, strengthening collaboration, exchanging expertise, and discussing the most pressing global challenges and emerging crisis and emergency management trends. He also highlighted the vital role of think tanks, the private sector, the media, and civil society in enhancing overall preparedness and resilience.
Held on the Summit’s sidelines, the Education Sector Awareness Exhibition aims to nurture a conscious and informed generation about the culture of emergency and crisis preparedness. The exhibition will feature specialised activities to raise public awareness of effective emergency response practices. These include AI-powered interactive experiences, advanced technology demonstrations, dialogue sessions, and hands-on workshops.
The Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition will take place concurrently. It aims to promote cooperation and partnerships across the public and private sectors while highlighting cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in emergency and crisis management.
