The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced New Year's paid holiday for all private sector employees in the UAE.
In a circular issued on on Friday, MoHRE announced that UAE's private sector will get a paid holiday for New Year on January 1, 2025.
Earlier today, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) declared Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as the New Year holiday for federal government entities.
A circular issued by the Authority on Friday added that work will resume on Thursday, January 2.
