President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Wednesday Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq, President of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt, accompanied by His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC).
During the meeting held at the Qasr Al Bahr Majlis, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed the Egyptian Speaker, who conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE.
In return, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his greetings to President El-Sisi and his wishes for further growth and development for Egypt and its people.
The two sides discussed the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt, particularly in parliamentary collaboration, and explored ways to enhance these ties for the benefit of the peoples of both nations.
They also addressed various topics of mutual interest, emphasising the deep fraternal bonds that unite the UAE and Egypt.
