The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has ranked 112th globally and 1st in the UAE in the inaugural Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025, conducted with Schmidt Science Fellows.
This pioneering ranking evaluates universities' contributions to interdisciplinary science, reaffirming UAEU's position as a leader in transformative research and innovation.
The 2025 Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR) featured 749 universities from 92 countries and territories. It assesses institutions using 11 meticulously designed performance indicators across three core areas, representing the complete life cycle of research projects: Inputs (Funding), Process (Infrastructure and Support), and Outputs (Research and Reputation).
