SHARJAH (WAM)
H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, and wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed that governmental institutional work is a cherished trust held by every working member of society.
“This responsibility extends beyond mere duty, forming an intrinsic part of a humane nature rooted in giving and a profound desire to serve the community,” she added.
She underscored that dedication and loyalty add noble value to every effort, as each sincere step taken by the organisations contributes to constructing a strong, cohesive society built on bonds of solidarity and compassion. Every initiative to enhance public services is more than an addition; it is a brick in a lofty mission, elevating the quality of life and offering the best for all individuals and families of Sharjah.
Sheikha Jawaher's remarks came during her attendance at the fourth edition of Our Forum, a biannual event organised by the Executive Office of H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, held on Thursday at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
The forum continues its journey in nurturing employees and preparing them for pivotal roles that support the growth of Sharjah community.
In her opening speech to the employees of the organisations she chairs, Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi recounted the beginnings of her journey in serving society.
She said, "When I embarked on my journey, my foremost motivation was my national duty toward my emirate and its people. I began working alongside a group of dedicated women, united in purpose, who volunteered with me to create a unique environment for women and children in Sharjah, ultimately establishing a model admired across the UAE.
"At that time, we did not work merely to meet attendance or complete tasks as dictated by strategies and KPIs. Instead, we were driven by our love for our nation, our Ruler, H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and our love for the people of our community. Our joy was immense when we witnessed the impact of our efforts on a child’s smile after achieving success, a woman discovering her talent, or a family finding stability after turmoil."
She also emphasised the importance of placing the community and its needs at the forefront of every organisation’s priorities. She continued, "The seed planted by a group of ambitious women has flourished into an integrated governmental framework, powered by its employees, and fueled by their passion and energy.
"Today, I do not see you as mere employees with defined tasks and working hours, but as loyal individuals aspiring to leave a genuine mark on Sharjah’s growth journey. Your efforts are not for higher salaries or anticipated promotions, whether deserved or not. Instead, what you do impacts every person in the community. Every child is your child, each woman your mother, sister, or daughter, each man your father, brother, or son."
Concluding her speech, Sheikha Jawaher expressed pride in the numerous leaders in her organisations and the achievements that continue to uplift the emirate of Sharjah.
She addressed the employees of the organisations, saying, "You are the backbone of this emirate, and the support that our leadership count on. My regular meetings with the leaders reaffirm that my trust is rightly placed in each one of you. Today, we urge you to rediscover yourselves through this journey, as understanding our triggers and motivations enables us to engage with others maturely and compassionately, which amplifies the impact of our work”.
