TRENDS celebrates its female researchers and staff on Emirati Women’s Day

ABU DHABI (ABU DHABI) 

TRENDS Research and Advisory celebrated its female researchers and staff on Emirati Women’s Day. held under the slogan “We share for tomorrow”, in recognition of the efforts of Emirati women and their active contribution to building society and advancing the nation.

On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, honoured the female researchers and staff at TRENDS, commending their role in scientific research aimed at building a knowledgeable and capable generation.

Dr. Al Ali also honoured researcher Sumaya Al Hadhrami as the first female Emirati to join TRENDS Research and Advisory.

Expressing his pride in the young female researchers, Dr. Mohammed Al Ali stated that they have successfully established their presence and excelled in their fields, just like other daughters of the UAE. He attributed their success to the support and appreciation from the wise leadership, which has provided them with all the means to empower themselves and remove any obstacles hindering their progress and contributions alongside their male counterparts in the nation-building and development process.

Sumaya Al Hadhrami expressed her happiness with this recognition, stating that it serves as a motivation for her to continue giving and working hard to contribute to laying the foundation for building a prosperous future for the daughters of the nation.

She added that joining TRENDS marks an important moment in her professional career, emphasising that working in a creative environment like TRENDS is a great honour and a motivation to contribute more towards enhancing knowledge and scientific research.

Additionally, TRENDS Research and Advisory participated in a symposium hosted by its research partner, the National Library and Archives, represented by researcher Warda Al Menhali, Director of Corporate Communications. She presented a paper on her experience at TRENDS and the opportunities and resources provided to them in scientific research. She affirmed that Emirati women receive full support and attention, enabling them to achieve accomplishments in various fields and at different levels.
