The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast for August 3-6, 2024.
According to the forecast, the weather will be rainy, dusty and windy in the coming days starting from Saturday.
Saturday
Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times with low clouds appearing over the Eastern coast, with a probability of some convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon - associated with rainfall.
Light to moderate Southwesterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand to reduce horizontal visibility - at speeds of up to 40kmph.
The sea will be moderate becoming rough at times during daytime in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
Sunday
Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times with clouds appearing over the mountains by afternoon.
Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand reducing the horizontal visibility, with speed of 25-40kmph.
The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
Monday
Partly cloudy to cloudy and dusty at times as low clouds appear over the eastern coast, with a probability of some convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon may be associated with rainfall.
Light to moderate Northeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15-25 reaching 40kmph.
The sea will be slight to moderate becoming rough at times Westward in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in Oman Sea.
Tuesday
Partly cloudy to cloudy and dusty at times, with a probability of rainfall over some areas especially Eastward and Southward, with a decrease in temperatures.
Light to moderate Southeasterly to Southerly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15-30 reaching 40kmph.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
