H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued an Emiri Decree amending Decree No. (8) of 2022 concerning the Ajman Statistics Centre.
Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid has issued an Emiri Decision appointing a Director-General for the centre.
The Emiri Decree No. (7) of 2024 revises Decree No. (8) of 2022 by replacing the title "Executive Director" with "Director-General" in the Emiree Decree No. (8) of 2022 and any related legislation.
The Decree also stipulates that Article (6) of Emiri Decree No. (8) of 2022 be replaced with the following text: "The centre shall have a Director-General appointed by an Emiri Decision issued by the Ruler, along with a sufficient number of technical and administrative staff. Their employment affairs shall be managed and organised in accordance with the human resources legislation currently in effect within the emirate's government."
Any provision in any other legislation will be repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Decree.
This Decree is effective from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
Additionally, the Ajman Ruler has issued Emiri Decision No. (10) of 2024, appointing Dr. Hajar Saeed Hamad Al-Hubaishi as the new Director-General of the Ajman Statistics Centre.
