AL DHAFRA (ALETIHAD)
Al Dhafra Region Municipality has carried out around 400 inspection visits to construction sites in various cities in Al Dhafra Region from the beginning of 2023 through May 2024, as part of the municipality’s keenness to ensure the application of occupational safety and health requirements.
The visits aim to control the quality of the implemented projects from a technical standpoint and ensure their conformity with the plans, conditions, and standards approved by the Abu Dhabi International Building Code and executive regulations that ensure the sustainable construction of buildings is conducted according to best practices.
It also aims to ensure that companies adhere to occupational safety and health requirements, and to install temporary fences around sites in a correct and stable manner in anticipation of any weather fluctuations.
The visits also aim to organise and monitor construction and urban development in accordance with the best standards of design, construction, health, safety and environment, and to maintain the efficiency of assets, infrastructure and public facilities.
During the visits, entities and their employees are made aware of the importance of adhering to requirements to maintain the health and safety of workers and ensure that projects are completed accurately and without accidents.
