His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathies to Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, on the victims of the recent floods, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
This came in a phone call on Sunday wherein the UAE Top Diplomat reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering solidarity with Brazil in the face of the recent floods, expressing his hope for a swift recovery for the victims, and continued safety and prosperity for the Brazilian people.
Additionally, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to advance cooperation, with Sheikh Abdullah emphasising the strong and ever-growing strategic partnership between the UAE and Brazil.
Vieira expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the UAE and its wise leadership for its noble humanitarian initiatives towards Brazil and its support for those affected by the floods and rains that hit the country.
