ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) released the weather forecast for the upcoming week. 

On Sunday, fair to partly cloudy conditions are expected with a chance of convective cloud formation in the southern regions.

Additionally, there is a probability of rainfall, particularly in the south, as temperatures gradually increase.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are predicted, freshening at times with speeds reaching up to 40 km/hr.

Notably, sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

As for Monday, the weather will bring similar conditions, with the possibility of convective cloud formation in the south by afternoon and possible of rainfall. Winds will be light to moderate, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see fair to partly cloudy skies, with convective clouds forming in the western and southern regions.

There is a chance of rainfall, and winds will be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly, freshening at times and carrying dust. Wind speed will range between 10 – 25 km/hr, reaching 40 Km/hr at times.

Sea condition will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

By Thursday, temperatures will decrease, especially in the west, along with fair to partly cloudy skies. Expect light to moderate northwesterly winds, which may cause blowing dust and sand.

The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
