His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the Ministerial Development Council meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
The Council discussed numorous initiatives, policies, and projects aimed at developing the government work system in the country.
Additionally, the council reviewed the outcomes of regulating the labour market, Emiratisation and the health sector, as well as a number of proposed federal legislations in the financial markets, the civil aviation sector, artificial intelligence (AI), and the labour market, in addition to a number of improvement proposals related to government housing services provided by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.
In government affairs, the Council reviewed a number of 2023 reports on the results and achievements of some federal entities, including the United Arab Emirates University, the UAE Space Agency, the Emirates Tourism Council, the Medical Liability Supreme Committee, and the Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation, in addition to the work of the Postal Sector Regulation Committee and the Emirates Scientists Council.
