Parks in Ajman, especially in Masfoot and Al Manama areas, on Wednesday witnessed a rise in the number of visitors as crowds thronged public spaces to exchange greetings on the religious occasion.
The parks boast children’s play areas, and expansive green spaces, making them ideal locations to spend holiday in a pleasant atmosphere.
According to Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, during Eid, the parks are open to the public from 4pm until 11pm, with the exception of Al Rashidiya Park receiving visitors from 8am until 11pm.
The beaches in the emirate also witnessed a large turnout of visitors, as many took advantage of the holiday to enjoy swimming, water sports, or take in the view.
Lifeguards maintained a close watch on beachgoers and provided guidance regarding swimming in safe areas.
The department also adorned the streets, parks, squares, and bridges in the emirate, including Masfoot and Al Manama, with congratulatory messages and illuminated panels, reflecting the joy of the public on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
Parking fees were waived across all paid zones in the emirate during the holiday period.
