"The Creative Hub initiative was born from a clear vision and a pressing imperative: to provide more than just a space for exhibiting artwork - it serves as a true launching pad connecting creative talent with strategic opportunities," said Abu Dhabi Youth Council member Ghaleya Almansoori.
The newly launched programme aims to cultivate Emirati creative talent and bolster Abu Dhabi's cultural and creative sectors, offering artists chances for long-term career development, professional advancement, and collaboration.
The initiative, which was started by Majalis Abu Dhabi under the Presidential Court's Citizens and Community Affairs Office in strategic collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, will focus on stimulating innovation and creative entrepreneurship, while connecting up-and-coming talent with industry professionals.
"Now is the perfect time to empower youth - not just as presenters of ideas, but as pioneers shaping our cultural economy and defining its future, given Abu Dhabi's rapid momentum in expanding its cultural and creative Industries," explained Almansoori.
Different from traditional exhibitions, Creative Hub will hold a number of activations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. These events will combine exhibitions with interactive workshops and panel discussions, enabling attendees to interact directly with business leaders and the general public.
According to Almansoori, the programme's goal is to give creatives critical skills while assisting them in creating professional networks that promote long-term employment.
"By offering practical mentorship, collaborative networks and institutional access, each exhibition becomes a meaningful stepping stone in participants' professional trajectory," she explained.
She added that the programme will be crucial to bolstering Abu Dhabi's creative ecosystem in the future.
"Creative Hub is set to build a self-sustaining talent pipeline across the entire emirate over the coming years, enriching Abu Dhabi's cultural landscape, amplifying youth representation locally and internationally, and establishing creative entrepreneurship as a viable professional pathway," said Almansoori.
