The Youth Orchestra and Choir return to the Cultural Foundation on Tuesday, June 23, with a special concert for the whole family, featuring music inspired by fairy tales.
The performance is the perfect way to introduce children to classical music.
The highlight of the evening will be "Peter and the Wolf" by Prokofiev, an all-time favourite. In this beloved work, each character is represented by a different instrument of the orchestra, while a narrator guides the audience through the classic fable.
The orchestra will be conducted by Aldo Dotto, with Liam Cullinan as narrator. The choir will be conducted by Helen Kerr and Isabel Luna.
The event is organised by Abu Dhabi Culture in collaboration with the International Music Institute.
Tickets start from Dh50 and children 12 years old and below enter for free.
